The idea of GrandsonIT came to me when I saw my Grandma struggling with technology, creating a barrier between us for contact.

The Horizon of GrandsonIT
There are thousands of technology companies out there, but what is the point if only a small portion of the population can utilize them?
The goal here at GrandsonIT is to bring accessibility to technologies ranging from basic to advanced lessons to the general public, starting with seniors.
GrandsonIT was bloomed out of the idea of helping prevent scams against at-risk populations of people, but it is much more than that. Technology is here to stay, whether we like it or not. As a global community, we have to harvest it to our advantage, and to do that we must keep up with new technological advancements. We must also gain knowledge surrounding previous generations of computing in order to protect ourselves and harness its drastic potential to our benefit in our daily lives!

Wouldn't it be great to Facetime your Grandchildren, access medical records online or even talk to a trusted doctor through the internet? The technology is here, we just have to learn how to operate it successfully.
Both Brandon and I are recently graduated science undergraduate students, with hopes of going into a Masters of Biomedical Engineering and a Masters of Business, respectfully. We have both have taken multiple courses in various advanced technology related programs, such as coding and operating genetic software/hardware, as well as public speaking courses over the span of our degrees. We're also Gen Z, meaning, we have known technology our entire lives. This includes operating a tablet, phone and computer!
We can help with a variety of services, ranging from the basic operation of phones, tablets and computers, to the advanced use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) software and coding!

Sure, there are programs out there that will solve your technology problems, such as troubleshooting an issue one is having, but does that really solve the core issue related to the utilization of technology at hand? I believe that teaching someone how to operate the given technology, so they can solve the problem individually is key!
To do so, Brandon and I will be attending a variety of living & retirement centers, teaching 45 minute courses with a variety of technology related topics. Sessions will be broken down into 30 minutes of teaching the technology at hand, followed by a 15 minute question period, where we will answer all technology related questions based on information from the session.
